A limited selection of hand-crafted products including organic Cacao grown on the property to make our fine-craft Dark Chocolate products and natural blue clay sourced locally to produce the signature VIDA Blue Clay skincare line.

Guests who stay at Buenaventura for a minimum of 7 nights or more receive a complimentary “Golden Ticket” 70% Dark Chocolate Bar and a 4 oz Jar of VIDA Blue Clay.

VIDA Blue Clay Skincare Products

Since 2016 we have been hand-harvesting 100% natural blue clay for the signature skincare line VIDA Blue Clay, with products for sale at Buenaventura. VIDA Blue Clay is also available at retail stores, hotel gift shops and spas throughout Costa Rica and limited quantities available to the USA Market @ VIDABlueClay.com.

The blue clay used for our “Avatar Experience Tour” is the same blue clay used in the VIDA Blue Clay skincare products.

Traditionally used for regenerating skin tissue, detoxification, and grounding rituals, blue clay is also known as “Healing Clay”.

Ceremonial Cacao & Dark Chocolate Products

Our organic Cacao is grown, harvested, fermented and sun-dried on-site at Buenaventura and our Cacao trees are grown in the Fibonacci Sequence in Cacao Superfood forests .

The Cacao beans are cured for an average of 12 months in a temperature control environment, then processed on-site to make our Ceremonial Cacao and 75% Dark Chocolate Fudge or hand-carried and flow up in suitcases to California to be handed over to our chocolate maker who processes the beans into Buenaventura's dark chocolate products as seen below.
